Liz Foss bases her quilts on traditional patterns but she adds contemporary colors and design elements for an updated look. The traditional component often evokes an emotional response because quilts are so representative of home and family. Some customers have redecorated a whole room around one of her quilts.

Liz lives in Spencer, Massachusetts and has been making quilts for over 30 years. Her collection at Clever Hand ranges from potholders and placemats to full size bed quilts. The fabrics are 100% cotton and are washable. She enjoys doing custom orders.
